Packlist

You want to defend the ZAD Rheinland with us this autumn/winter? – Then pack your rucksack and come along!

You don’t know exactly what you need? No problem… Below you will find a short packing list with things you should bring. If you would like to bring additional donations in kind, please have a look at the wish list.

.

Tip: The packing list is interactive. When you click on an item, it is crossed out so that you can keep track of it 🙂 You can undo the action with a double click. Attention: If you reload the page, the marks will be deleted! If it does not work, you may have to allow the browser to use Java Script.

Yourself, but please tested negative for Corona and vaccinated!

If you have a warm blanket or sleeping bag and rubber boots and nothing else, we can manage the rest.

    Otherwise:
  • FFP2 asks
  • Charging cables for your technical devices, powerbanks
    headlamp, spare batteries
  • Nickname for anonymity if you like
  • Tent, (winter) sleeping bag and sleeping mat (or a second old one to sit on), earplugs just in case.
  • Weatherproof, warm clothes, preferably ones you can wear in layers when it’s colder
    • Rubber boots with thermal soles inside
    • Warm socks (at least two pairs)
    • Thermal underwear
    • Hat, Scarf, Gloves
    • Sturdy shoes (that can get dirty, e.g. hiking or winter boots)
  • food storage box/lunchbox and spoon
  • Hygiene products (e.g. your toothbrush)
  • Medicines that you need regularly
  • If you normally wear contact lenses, bring a pair of glasses to be on the safe side.

Note: If you bring snacks: don’t leave them in your backpack or tent (everything is less heavy with at least one bar of your favourite chocolate in your luggage, but mice might make holes in it).

Protips:
  • Flashlight or headlamp
  • Own bed sheet for tree house mattresses
  • Sleeveless cloth and rain poncho
  • Fairy lights for reading and for your sleeping place
  • Thermos flask for warm tea
  • Hot water bottle (there are, but maybe too few)
  • Pocket warmer
  • Climbing harness with carabiners and abseiling equipment, possibly even cowtails and rope.
  • A good book, crossword puzzle or Sudoku booklet (don’t forget a pen)
  • Card games
  • If you are even halfway proficient, you are welcome to bring an instrument. The more robust the better
  • Banner, if you like to hang one up
  • Bicycle (there are also collective ones)
  • Work gloves
  • Audiobook for Night Watch
  • Cash for donation box

If you don’t have any of these things (especially tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat), please let us know in advance. There are a few things here, but in order to have enough for everyone, we need to be able to plan ahead. Maybe you can also privately take care of a loan or something similar. We are happy that you want to come,

See you soon!
